Common name plus scientific or supplier-recognized species where applicable.
Whole, H&G, fillet, loin, portion, peeled, cleaned or other required form.

IQF, block frozen or another buyer-approved commercial method.
Glaze percentage or net-weight requirement should be clearly specified.
Carton size, inner pack, language, marks and private-label requirements where applicable.
COLD-CHAIN DISCIPLINE
Seafood shipment planning should account for product temperature, freezing method, reefer equipment, loading, transit time, port handling, customs or inspection procedures and destination cold storage.

Final condition, net weight, glaze, inner packing, carton configuration, label and pallet requirements are confirmed against the selected supplier program.
Frozen product specifications are aligned to temperature, pack style and required transit conditions.
Individual Quick Frozen products are reviewed by piece size, glaze, net weight and packing.
Chilled seafood requires careful shelf-life, transit-time and destination handling review.
Cartons, inner packs, labels, palletization and private-label needs are confirmed by program.

Confirm the exact species and product form requested by the buyer.
Review whether the origin is eligible for the destination and product category.
Confirm establishment or processing-plant eligibility as applicable.
Identify importer, permits, broker and destination-side inspection requirements where applicable.
